Weekend orders placed with New Jersey Caskets Company are considered to be placed on the following Monday (first delivery available Tuesday); orders placed on holidays are considered to be placed on the next non-holiday/non-weekend day. If you have special needs or require additional scheduling assistance, please contact New Jersey Caskets Co. customer support directly. New Jersey Casket Co. is not liable or legally responsible for shipping delays caused by weather, government actions, shipment refusal, shipping carrier delays, acts of war, and/or acts of God.
Purchasing Customer affirms that information submitted in online ordering pertaining to the following are accurate:
Misinformation and mistakes in information pertaining to the preceding items are solely the responsibility of the Purchasing Customer. Purchasing Customer agrees that re-delivery attempts and any charges resulting therefrom are the sole responsibility of the Purchasing Customer, who hereby authorizes New Jersey Caskets Co. to make charges against the Purchasing Customer’s credit card account to satisfy any such additional fees. The minimum fee for re-delivery is $125 or more depending on distance.
New Jersey Caskets Co. reserves its right to refuse processing and fulfillment for any order for a product that contains errors in pricing or description, regardless of whether such errors derive from or from any orders that might be suspected to be fraudulent or unauthorized by the purchasing party.
For all orders from New Jersey Casket Co., the total cash price – including the item(s) price, shipping cost, sales tax, and any additional applicable fees – is immediately due and payable at the time the online ordering form is completed and submitted to New Jersey Caskets Co. New Jersey Casket Co. maintains a security interest in all products and services it sells, such security interest being maintained until the total cash price and any subsequent fees or charges have been paid in full to New Jersey Casket Co. by the Purchasing Customer.
Purchasing Customer must report any problems with products within 24 hours of delivery. Purchasing Customer agrees that the actions (or inaction) of their funeral director, funeral home, or any funeral employee in their service are not the responsibility of New Jersey Casket Co. Purchasing Customer holds New Jersey Casket Co. harmless for any failures by these entities. Any damage to products caused by the funeral home or its employees is the sole responsibility of the Purchasing Customer; this includes any failure by the funeral home or its employees to properly shut, lock, or otherwise properly close the casket.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT: All terms agreed to between the Purchasing Customer and New Jersey Caskets Co.are contained within this agreement. This agreement replaces and supersedes any other agreements between the two parties, written or verbal, relating to the same products and services. Future discussions or agreements cannot change the essential nature of this agreement, unless put down in writing and subsequently signed by the Purchasing Customer and New Jersey Caskets Co (or the New Jersey Casket Co assignee).
NOTICE: Any holder of this agreement is subject to all claims and defenses which the debtor could bring against New Jersey Casket Co. of products or services acquired pursuant hereto. Recovery hereunder by the debtor is limited to amounts up to but not exceeding the amounts paid by the debtor hereunder.
Caskets are purchased as a “type” of merchandise, based on a description of features including gauge of metal or type of wood, materials, color, interior features, and finish. Exact item ordered may be unavailable at time of purchase or requested delivery time; in such rare cases, New Jersey Casket Co. will provide an equivalent quality product that conforms to the described features.
All charges and fees for shipping and delivery are non-refundable. Saturday shipments may be allowed, for an additional fee: contact the New Jersey Casket Co. customer service department to inquire regarding availability and costs. We do not offer delivery service on Sundays or major holidays. Special delivery service to specify morning or afternoon delivery, or specific delivery time, is subject to an additional fee. If additional charges cannot be fully anticipated due to individual circumstances, New Jersey Casket Co will charge the credit card on file with the Purchasing Customer’s account following delivery for any additional fees that are required.
